State of Speculative Design Discussion, Maribor, Slovenia, 18 April 2019
Location: Salon uporabnih umetnosti — from 9:30 to 14:00
The State of Speculative Design Discussion (part of Future Friends Event) will take place on 18 April 2019, from 9:30 to 14:00. The discussion will be focused on the state of Speculative Design in education and practice. The round table event is open to anyone who has ever wondered what the near future will look like, and what can be done today to make a better tomorrow.
The discussion will be delivered in two panels by renowned Speculative Design practitioners from the UK, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, and Portugal.
- Panel 1. Education, Practice, Methods moderated by Ivica Mitrović, University of Split (Croatia).
- Panel 2. References, Critics and Future Paths moderated by James Auger, Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute (Portugal).
