Kick-off event in Split!
Kick-off meeting took place at the Arts Academy in Split on 22 October 2018.
As a follow-up of Interakcije 2018 — Speculative Design Workshop: Life After Disaster the SpeculativeEdu project kick-off meeting was held, hosting international guests. The kick-off event encompassed an open discussion as the introduction to the project in the Museum of Fine Arts in Split. Participants, James Auger and Julian Hanna (M-ITI, Crap Futures), Jimmy Loizeau (Goldsmiths), Salvatore Iaconesi and Oriana Persico (HER, Nefula), Michael Smyth and Ingi Helgason (Edinburgh Napier) and Sara Božanić and Petra Bertalanič (ITD), discussed the state of speculative design and related design practices today. The discussion was moderated by the project coordinator, Ivica Mitrović (the Arts Academy in Split).
